Install Lareum.
One installer sets up everything: the app, the private AI engine and the runtime it needs. There's nothing else to install, and no account to create.
From download to your first answer.
Install
Open the download and drag Lareum to Applications on a Mac, or run the installer on Windows.
Set up your AI
On first launch Lareum picks an AI model sized to your computer and downloads it once, 3 to 17 GB. You can start on your home while it downloads.
Add your home
Type in your systems and appliances, or photograph their labels. Your maintenance schedule appears right away.
Pair your phone
Get the phone app and scan the code Lareum shows on your computer. It's encrypted end to end and works from anywhere.
The computer is the home base. The phone is the remote.
Windows
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. An Nvidia or AMD graphics card makes answers faster.
DownloadWhat your computer needs.
| Memory | 8 GB minimum. 16 GB or more recommended for the larger model and faster answers. |
| Free disk | 10 GB minimum, 25 GB on computers with 32 GB of memory or more (they get the largest model). |
| Internet | Needed once to download the AI model, and for phone access away from home. Answers are made on your computer. |
| Stay on | Your phone reaches Lareum through your computer, so leave it on or set it not to sleep. |
Before you install.
Does my home data go to Lareum's servers?
No. Your home record and the AI live on your computer. When your phone is away from home, its messages pass through our relay, sealed end to end. The relay can't read them and stores nothing.
Why is the first launch slow?
Lareum downloads its AI model once, sized to your computer's memory. On a typical home connection that takes 5 to 30 minutes. If it gets interrupted, it picks up where it left off.
Windows says it protected my PC.
Early-access builds may not have built up a reputation with Windows yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Signed builds remove this message.
How do I uninstall?
On a Mac, drag Lareum from Applications to the Trash. On Windows, use Settings, then Apps. Your home record and the downloaded model stay in the .lareum folder in your home folder until you delete it.
